"GOLDEN" HISTORY OF THE URALS

During the bus tour to Berezovsky town you will learn about the Ural mountains - a real treasury of all kinds of minerals. The guide will tell you how gold was discovered and mined here, for the first time in Russia. You will also learn about life and work conditions of gold-finders and gold-washers.

In the Berezovsky Gold & Platinum Museum different things and objects used in household and everyday life, mining tools and washing devices, documents of XVIII - XX centuries represent the past and the present of the town and the largest Russian gold and platinum mining factories.
You will visit the Berezovsky carpet factory where you will watch the carpet-making process, and get a chance to buy nice carpets made in an unusual technique at a good price.
